The Centre of Excellence on Gender-smart Solutions serves as a comprehensive repository of knowledge at the intersection of gender and Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI). By aggregating research, case studies, policy briefs, and practical tools, the Centre of Excellence creates a centralised pool of resources that stakeholders can access to inform policy and program design. In addition to curating existing materials, the Centre of Excellence actively commissions its own research to address knowledge gaps, generate evidence on emerging challenges, and produce insights that support gender-responsive and inclusive CDRFI solutions. Through this role, the Centre of Excellence ensures that decision-makers, practitioners, and partners have timely, reliable, and actionable information to guide effective interventions.
